Galerie Uhn was founded in 2001 in Hofheim and is run by Jimin Leyrer. In Hofheim, the gallery primarily presented Korean antique furniture and ceramics. In 2008 the gallery space moved to Königstein. For the first art exhibition in 2008, the gallery presented an international well known ceramic artist, Young-Jae Lee in this space. After the successful exhibition, Young-Jae Lee's ceramics are continued as a permanent exhibition. In 2014, the gallery space moved again within Königstein to the current space. The gallery represents the works of over 30 international both established and emerging young artists. The program is continously expanded to include classic media painting, sculpture, video and installation as well as photography. Exhibitions are also planned and carried out in collaboration with other galleries and organizations.
